The Obstacles of Life.

The Obstacles of Life.

Life is always about ups and downs and consistently learning how to act and manage situations that might be difficult or impossible to conquer.

And if you look back you have always been able to somehow move forward regardless of what difficult situation you have faced.

And if you think what has made you move forward and not quit, there might be many factors such as loved ones, maybe your own pride or maybe God has helped you navigate through all of this.

“But whatever it is, you somehow are here and still moving forward.”

Doesn’t matter how difficult the situation is, you have to understand that obstacles are part of your life and that expecting to have a perfect life without some type of challenge is impossible.

During a lifetime we will be faced with many obstacles from maybe getting sick, losing a job, losing a loved one, having financial issues or feeling that we lost motivation to keep trying to move forward,

I am sure that if you are reading this you have been able to conquer several of these situations throughout your lifetime and that you have the capability to deal with many other obstacles in the future.

In my case I try to practice looking at these obstacles as opportunities.

You might ask how to see an opportunity out of a negative situation?

Well sometimes these obstacles are awakenings to something that we were unconsciously thinking, maybe deep inside we needed a change and somehow our behavior, even if subtle, was conditioning us to go through much needed struggle.

Maybe you were feeling stuck or that you were settling, and even though feeling comfortable, you knew something needed to change.

And guess what?

Change is uncomfortable and will feel like an obstacle, however as you conquer this obstacle you will feel and be so much stronger.

Right now, I have the fortune to know many people and they are all going through different types of struggles, from major health issues to separation or divorces to losing their job, to losing a loved one.

However all of them have one thing in common, they all keep going and live courageously one day at a time and keep moving forward.

Now we will all be faced with obstacles, but if we take the time and change our perspective to embrace these as opportunities, we will face them much better and just maybe find something that will make us feel fulfilled and closer to finding our purpose in life.
