Are You All In?

Are You All In?

If you would take some time right now and analyze where you are either professionally, in a relationship and just take inventory of where you are emotionally and ask yourself that question.

Am I all in?

What I mean is that if you are doing something right now is all your heart, soul and energy into that whatever you or doing?

When you go to work, do you feel that everytime you are giving your best and truly brought into that vision your company is trying to accomplish?

If you are in a relationship, do you think about that person as someone that you would give anything to only be with them and help them be better. versions of themselves?

When you say yes to something do you really mean it or are you only saying yes to save fuel and not being engaged in what you were asked to do?

Well if you are not truthful to yourself and only doing what you are doing because it is “comfortable” and not expressing the truth to yourself, you might not be all in.

When you are lukewarm in what you do, time seems to run slow, you might get anxious or depressed because what you do on a daily basis is not what you truly love to do.

Maybe day to day you are doing something that you might not like that much, however it might serve a bigger purpose. Something like working a 9-5 job because your bigger purpose is to make sure your family is taken care of.

During my lifetime I have questioned if I am all in, whenI start feeling stagnant in any of my parts of life.

When that has happened it always seems there is a change that makes me search for that fire within me to get back to being all in.

It is hard to always feel engaged but there will be periods of time where you will feel that you are not very motivated and that is normal.

But if that feeling of not being motivated seems to last more, maybe it is time for a change.

Might not have to be as drastic as quilting your job or changing partners, might be something like searching for another opportunity within your company or asking to learn something different.

Sometimes bringing some type of uncertainty to your life might provide a spark that will allow you to feel excited.

During life there will be many stages, and you will be faced with periods of not feeling motivated. That should be the trigger for you to find something different that will ignite a spark.

Finding what we love might be more difficult, however as long as you are breathing you have the opportunity to find that something that makes you feel all in.
