The Desire to Heal

The Desire to Heal

Everyone in this world is going through some difficulty or challenge in their lives and those difficulties are tied to some type of scars that at some point in time were given to us either intentionally or unintentionally by someone or something.

Those scars can be physical like all of those times I fell off my bike and scraped my knees or elbows or emotional scars like when I lost my best friend in a fatal accident.

All those events and many more that cause some sort of pain and create these scars often seem to hold us back and not allow us to live a fuller and happier life.

And as we go back and remember how we got these scars, we tend to get sad or angry about that event and build up these emotions that might set of a vicious circle of wanting to be sad or depressed and not allowing us to let go of those feelings and always finding a way to tap into those emotions for whatever reason that fulfills a need within us.

Some people might be dealing with a health issue that could be life threatening and have certain feelings about their condition and how to deal with it.

Whatever situation you are in you might wish to be healed, but when you do that,

Are you really looking to be healed?

The roadblocks for really being healed are many. Some of them might be that you do not want to acknowledge that you have a scar or that you are sick.

Physically you might have an injury or some pain that you know is there but you do not want to acknowledge because you might feel that it will make you seem weak or because you feel don’t have the time to be sick or injured.

Emotionally you might have scars that you have stored deep within you for the same reasons of not wanting the feeling of vulnerability. And as those scars turn into disease you start feeling worse every day of your life.

When you really want to heal, the first thing to do is to recognize and acknowledge that you have a scar and that its affecting your ability to heal and grow.

Everyone that has the strength, courage and faith to be healed, has to first recognize that they are sick. Once you are able to recognize that, you can truly ask for help. Then comes the effort of getting better every day going forward. Taking the steps that have been recommended by those who know how to help and being diligent and having faith that you will be healed.

There is now impossibles in this universe and when you truly want to be healed, you will. Doesn’t matter what condition you have, you have to first want to heal and put all your effort into healing.

If you say you want to heal and do nothing about it then you might be comfortable with your pain or disease, and you will stay there until you do something about it.

You are free to do whatever you want, after all its your life, just be conscious that nothing is impossible, however it requires you to have complete faith that you will heal and that will give you the strength to do everything possible to heal.
